Volunteers In Action

Volunteers In Action is a grant funded agency sponsored by Barton Community College and an United Way partner agency. Our mission is to empower community volunteers to make a difference in the place they live, work & play. 

Volunteers In Action not only recruits, retains and recognizes volunteers for area non-profits, government agencies as well as health groups and civic groups, but we have several in-house projects. These projects are Meals On Wheels, Medical Transportation, Senior Food Boxes, Grocery Shopping, Medicare Counseling and AARP Tax-Aid Tax preperation.
