Be the Friendly Face That Keeps the Fun Flowing Safely!
We’re looking for outgoing, responsible volunteers to help monitor entry points during the event. You'll play a key role in maintaining a safe, enjoyable atmosphere by ensuring alcohol stays within designated areas and by guiding guests with directions or answering questions.
As a Gate Ambassador, your presence helps ensure that event guidelines are followed—keeping alcohol within the designated area and providing guests with friendly assistance and directions. Your efforts will directly support a smooth, enjoyable experience for attendees and help the event run seamlessly.
Gate Ambassadors will be stationed at key entry points throughout the event from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexible 2-hour shifts available. Each shift is 2 hours. You can volunteer for more than one shift if you would like.
Key responsibilities: Communicating with event attendees to help direct them as needed. Providing an extra set of eyes to ensure alcohol doesn't leave the event area.
Training: A Volunteer packet will be sent out a week before to outline the specific duties required/locations for volunteer "gatekeepers." Volunteers will then be welcomed to an in-person volunteer meeting the week of the event to run through tasks and answer any questions.
Benefits: All volunteers will be gifted a Big Bend Bash shirt to wear event day.
