Help bring our downtown event to life by joining the essential team that makes it all happen behind the scenes! As part of the Tear-Down Crew, you'll play a vital role in making sure that Main Street is left clean and beautiful. Your support makes it possible for the entire community to enjoy a seamless, well-organized experience.
By volunteering, you're doing more than just manual tasks—you're helping breathe life into downtown Great Bend. Great Bend Alive is a nationally and state-recognized Main Street organization committed to revitalizing Main Street into a more pedestrian-friendly, vibrant, and beautiful place. Your support contributes directly to our mission of keeping downtown a space people love to visit, explore, and enjoy.
Volunteers will be helping to take down signs, stage, tables and chairs, canopies, etc. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, ability to walk the length of the event, ability to bend over to pick up items.
Training: A Volunteer packet will be sent out a week before to outline the specific duties required. Volunteers will then be welcomed to an in person volunteer meeting the week of the event to run through tasks and answer any questions.
Benefits: All volunteers will be gifted a Big Bend Bash shirt to wear event day.
