Volunteer: Grocery ShoppingThis program helps homebound seniors stay healthy with fresh groceries. Clients call in orders to the Volunteer Coordinator for this program. Volunteers then come into the Volunteers In Action office, pickup the list and the Dillons Credit Card, head to the store to shop. When done, volunteer will call client with total and then drop off the groceries, pick up payment and bring back to Volunteers In Action office. The shopping is usually done on Thursday or Friday but can be arranged for a different day if needed.
